Musical Theatre Jazz Dance
Broadway Dance, No Experience Needed
If you enjoyed Sing Together!, you’ll love Broadway performer, dance educator, and vocal coach Kathy Calahan’s newest class—Musical Theatre Jazz!
This beginner-friendly dance class celebrates the joy of movement through Broadway-inspired jazz. Participants will build dance technique, improve core strength and flexibility, and learn fun combinations in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Whether you’re brand new to dance or have years of experience, you’ll feel right at home.

More about Kathy Calahan:
Kathy Calahan is a Broadway performer, Theatre Arts teacher, choreographer, and public speaking coach. She brings years of professional stage experience to her teaching, helping students of all ages build confidence and creative presence — whether they’re pursuing the arts or any career that demands communication and charisma. Kathy has performed on Broadway in Mary Poppins (5-year run as a swing, covering over 10 roles), toured nationally in Ragtime, danced in Randy Skinner’s pre-Broadway production of White Christmas, and shared the stage with Tony Curtis in the 2002 national tour of Some Like It Hot. Her choreography credits include White Christmas, Cole!, The Fantasticks, How to Succeed…, The Melody Lingers On, and Broadway’s Easter Bonnet Competition. She teaches voice and dance privately and is on faculty at The Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre at NYFA (tap/theatre dance) and Dance Molinari, where she enjoys teaching Luigi-style jazz classes, advanced tap, and musical theatre workshops. Kathy also coaches professionals for interviews, presentations, and public speaking, and her work has reached politicians, Columbia grad students, and beyond. Her latest passion project is a Chair Rhythm & Tap class for seniors — blending movement, rhythm, and joy to boost brain function and well-being.

ReFORMed Pilates: Strength. Control. Alignment.
ReFORMed is an 8-week Reformer Pilates-inspired program that uses specialized resistance cords and mini sand balls.
This small group, personalized training brings the benefits of a Pilates reformer method to a supportive mat-based setting. You’ll strengthen your core, improve posture, and enhance total-body control; no machine needed! Led by expert instructor Colleen Fontes, participants will get the benefits of 1:1 instruction in a group workshop environment. This program is perfect for those looking for a great Pilates-style foundation or to take their existing skills to the next level.
ReFORMed is a paid program and not included in our regular group exercise schedule.
Drop-in spots are available for $25 a class, space permitting.

Sing Together! A Chorus for All
Created by Broadway performer, dance educator, and vocal coach Kathy Calahan, Sing Together! is a fun, welcoming singing group where everyone is invited. Discover the benefits of deep breathing, relaxation, sound vibrations, posture alignment, and expressing through song. No experience required, singers of all levels welcome. We’ll start with vocal warm-ups to prepare our voices and singing muscles, then learn some classic songs together as a group. This class is all about enjoying music, building confidence, and connecting with others in a relaxed, easy-going environment. Come ready to laugh, make some noise, and experience the joy of singing together!
